Its new JHB1 flagship data center marks the start of the company's $500 million plans to roll out a network across Africa. Overall, the company aims to build ten hyperscale data centers across Africa, including the top five data center markets in Africa, namely South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco and Egypt, over the next two years.
The investment will enable Africa Data Centers to more than double its footprint on the continent and drive digital transformation. At the same time, the company aims to build an ecosystem within its data centers to foster collaboration and the growth of digital life.
